I was very surprised when you mentioned in an entry a few weeks back that you liked those movies. Most of my friends that are girls tend to turn up their noses at stuff like this. haha! I suppose all the Sci Fi aspects tend to distract some folks from the story arcs and such. People usually say something like,"Oh God, it's Sci Fi. I'm not gonna be able to follow any of this." Stuff like that.

hahahaha! Well I hope that's not the case with all of them. Certainly, everyone of my LJ friends who are girls tend to listen if I ever geek out in a few entries. Like I said earlier, you're all alot more mature than folks I've met in the past and that's been such a breath of fresh air!

It's not a problem for me to listen, because I do get my "oooh-la-la" moments with my favourite bands/actors & actresses/etc. So I know how you feel! Hahaha! ;>]

I enjoy learning about the hobbies and passions of others. Much more than I used to. So many friends of mine on LJ are interested in such a vast amount of genres when it comes to music or literature or films. So I always keep an open mind and try my best to watch the films they enjoy and to read the things they're interested in so that I might relate to some of the things they post about. It's been great fun because I've come to appreciate many more books, movies, and musicians by doing so. You guys have certainly gotten me more interested in Smallville over at that community.
