I didn't think fish was that fattening? Unless it's deep fried. By the way.. your type in your comments is sooo tiny.. I don't know if you alter your journal yourself?

Is it really? Has it always been that way? No, I don't alter my journal. Thanks for bringing that up though. I'll have to check that out.

I'm not too picky about fish but I do prefer the fresh fish here because they manage to keep the bones out of it when they filet it...something they don't seem to manage as well in the US ( ... )

haha! I was hoping you'd comment on this entry. You seem to know a great deal about this type of stuff in general. I'll have to give those salmon steaks a go as well as ocean purch. yum! They'd be good with a little garlic butter on them, the steaks and the purch, I bet.

Yeah they would be nice with a garlic butter though with salmon I usually eat it as it is with a little garlic bread and nice green salad. It is so rich that it doesn't need much. Here they serve salmon sliced paper thin with a creamy cheese mixture, rocket (peppery salad greens) and thin toast.

Perch used to be one of those things you got at the fish camp as all you can eat so I ate that with hush puppies and cole slaw and maybe a deviled crab or two. Yum!

I'm craving pizza all the time and the frozen stuff from the grocery store doesn't cut it. I want the super cheesy greasy stuff that you get in restaurants and fast food joints. I was going to buy a slice at the movie theater on Sunday but the staff was ignoring me so I ended up not buying anything. Which was probably a good thing since I'd already had two frappuccinos! But maybe next week I'll try again.

Oh man, sounds good! The staff was ignoring you? Well they suck. A frap also sounds good. Yeah, you should give it another go next weekend!

Salmon (the wonder fish) - Bake at 350
Mix melted butter, lemon, orange juice, lemon juice & lime juice, (I usually mix all of them an then warm in the microwave)
When it comes out of the oven pour the sauce over your fish and serve.
