Well sports fans, I just got finished watching the inauguration. I really enjoyed that. My mom said Obama looked so serious out there today, but considering what he's got ahead of him in the next 4 years... Anyway, I think we'll all pull through. It's going to take the American people as a whole putting aside our differences and working together though. The new President seems very optimistic and not at all idealistic. He knows we've all got to work our buutskies off to acquire the thing's we'd desire most, and he's not afraid to admit that to the American people.
Well, looks like Homer Simpson got what he wanted in spite of accidently voting for McCain about 6 or so times. I thought that Simpsons sketch was pretty hilarious. I don't consider myself to be democrat or republican. I try to pick the guy I consider to be the best man for the job.
Man, you just know Obama's kids must be pumped since they're gonna be living in the Whitehouse. I wonder what that'd be like. I'd love to take a tour or atleast watch a documentary on the place.
Well, looks like I'm having vegetable beaf soup for supper. I really enjoyed my coffee this morning. Have learned not to be so heavy handed with the coffee grounds because I detest strong coffee. Maxwell House is very bitter if you overdo it. I also had one of those JC Potter microwavable saucage biscuits for breakfast. One has enough calories. If you eat two at once, that's almost 300 or maybe a little over. Well, I'm not much of a breakfast eater asit is, so I couldn't eat two if I wanted to. Ok, I probably could, but one's good enough for me.
Two days til the latest ep of Smallville. Very much looking forward to that. I wish Cal El would learn to fly already, or at least get his superhero threads. I wish I knew where the plot was going this season. Wish they'd bring Luthor back soon. I'm beginning to miss baldy. Tess Mercer/Mercy is an excelent stand in, but we've not seen much of her for a few episodes. I wonder what Miss Naughty has been up to since we last saw her. And surely, some portion of Brainiac is still active in the 21st century. In all the Superman incarnations, he's known for leaving pieces of himself behind. He's always got some sort of backup plan. He's evil and resorceful. That's why we love him so. Maybe he's somehow uploaded himself to Doomsday. That way, he'll have brawn to match that big brain of his.
