We left early this morning for home. I slept most of the way back and I slept when I got home. Guess I couldn't get much sleep there last night. I'm used to being in my own bed amidst all my familiar surroundings

Yeah, I liked the Dahak story arc that spread itself throughout both Herc and Xena. The whole Twilight of the Gods thing was very interesting, but it the Xenaverse seemed rather empty without all the Gods running around. I wish they could have done a few more episodes with Caesar and Rome before killing him off. And you're right about Ares. He's just doing what he was born to do, but he does a hell of a job. Alot of the fans got a little upset whenever he joined forces with Dahak and Gabby's bouncing baby girl, but if any of the Gods would betray his family, it was bound to be Ares. I can remember thinking to myself,"What are you guys so pissed off about? Hell, it's Ares! What do you want him to do, give one of those famous Hercules lectures and shame Dahak and Hope into being kind and gentle souls?" I was glad they didn't kill Ares off along with all the other Gods during the big 4 part season finale during Xena's fifth season. I've often wondered what became of Herc after the events of God fearing Child. Guess he's lived for years and years, taking on the alter eago of Kevin Sorbo if we're to consider those modern day Herc episodes canon? haha! Works for me. I was thrilled that neither series ended on one of those cliffhangers that never got a conclusion. So many series get canceled these days and the fans are left with these puzzled looks on their faces. But sometimes, in Herc and Xena's case, we get lucky and everything gets wrapped up all nice and neat.
