Oh yes indeed. And about damn time too. lol! I'm moving to Oakland which is only about 20 mins away from family in a part of Memphis. I've never gotten to live close to family like this before, so it's rather exciting.

Yup, it's allot safer. Hell of allot, actually. I'm also glad I'll be closer to the huge shopping centers in Memphis. Only 15 mins away from all that and the fam that live there. And Oakland isn't as secluded in the sticks as where I'm living now. That's also a plus.

Well, we're closing on the house in Oakland on my birthday which is the 27th of this month. I should be moved in up there at the end of August or a little later. I'll probably be staying with dad til November or so since my author friend who lives in Memphis will probably have narration work for me to do. But I'm heading out the door for good next week anyway. All our stuff is packed and everything, the guy's sure he's selling the place in Oakland, so now all we have to do is wait to close on my bday. Oh, did I tell you we're pretty sure we're building an inground pool for the new place? I was pretty pumped about that. Sure I won't get to use it this summer as it'll probably be some time in Sept before we're done with it, but it'll be there for next year.

Yeah, I still can't believe the whole pool thing either! It's something I've daydreamed about since I was a kid, so I still pinch myself on occasion to see if I'm awake. Yeah, these guys certainly don't waste much time. I guess they're itching to get the hell outa here like me. Mum's going to have to slow down in terms of the speed limit when we do get to Oakland. I hear it's a speed trap. The cops want you do go over so they can fine ya! haha!
