It's complicated, but Commander Kiske and I fought and he defeated me and I am now at his residence, recovering. Had I not been injured from the zombies, I could have easily defeated him.

The commander. For the moment, he is... not an enemy.

There would seem to be no threat of that. He has, in fact, offered me his protection.

I will be cautious. He has been an enemy for a long time, and I find it very strange that he would suddenly decide to show compassion.

Protection? But he was chasing you earlier, displaying your image... why would he suddenly change his mind?

That would be wise. Though... he would have had every reason to harm you when you were at your weakest. Perhaps.. just perhaps, he may be sincere?

It would seem to have something to do with the fact that apparently if I die, it throws things off in his world. So, he is trying to ensure that I do not die.

He may be, but blindly trusting him would still be foolish. At least... until he has proven that he can be trusted.
