Lea, Kagerou...I think we should go get dinner from the bazaar tonight instead of cooking for ourselves.

Does anyone know how to get chemical stains off the ceiling?

csi: edensphere: the new class, analyze that, ....huh, golf clap goes here, sad scientist, definitely not a ninja, for science

Oh, I'm sorry! You're fine, though, right?

Maybe we should ask if Housekeeping has something a little... stronger? It's not... dissolving the ceiling wood or anything?

Oh, no! I'm okay, and it's not making a whole. It's just...noticeable. Don't worry, I'll take responsibility and clean it off!

As long as it won't transform into a blob monster and absorb us while we sleep, it's all good!

Congrats, you just got weirder than her blindedmewith May 26 2010, 20:07:03 UTC
I'm sure it wouldn't do that.

Pretty sure.

It's SCIENCE. Anything could happen! weaver_girl May 26 2010, 20:12:35 UTC
I could tell the fairies to stand guard. I don't think they need to sleep.

Excellent point blindedmewith May 27 2010, 20:27:01 UTC
Are you sure they're not just very strange bugs?

To Kagerou, science is just magic that comes in test tubes. In a way. weaver_girl May 27 2010, 20:36:36 UTC
[Aside: My logic is Rosalind can see the fairies as well as anyone, because the shinigami are also corporeal and fully visible in Edensphere.]

I'm quite sure! I mean, they even talk to me now. That doesn't sound like a very bug-like thing to do?

And to Rosalind, magic is just science that comes in weirder forms blindedmewith May 27 2010, 20:38:27 UTC
They could be very smart bugs.

It's a perfect dichotomy. weaver_girl May 27 2010, 20:47:03 UTC
Don't let Grumpy hear you said that. I'm not sure he'd take it diplomatically.

[Yes, she gave them derpy placeholder names.]

Well, they're fairies, if you really wanted to be specific. In the interest of being scientific.

Scientifically speaking, we don't have any evidence that they're fairies and not intelligent bugs.

someone was good at biology too. or she's been hitting the bookshop. weaver_girl May 27 2010, 20:59:47 UTC
Other than the fact that they don't really fit class: insecta in any sense? None of them have six legs!

But people here come from all sorts of different places where the rules are different but still operate under scientific principles. Besides, there are lots of hidden species that people don't know about! That's much more likely than magical fairies.

Indeed! Only she can go from 'On the Origin of Species' to 'Kwaidan' and give both equal truth value weaver_girl May 27 2010, 21:08:24 UTC
I just meant fairies sounds a bit more polite than bugs. They can probably read this, you know.

There's still the part where they live in the pins. Do you think it's some sort of symbiosis? I've never seen them eat.

That is why we love her blindedmewith May 27 2010, 21:10:30 UTC
They shouldn't be insulted by that. Bugs are just another sort of living creature.

Maybe they're feeding off your brain when you wear the pins.
