This weekend was crazy. Saturday night was Jerry's house. Lots of people were there to say good-bye to him.
Sunday, Jerry left for Pitt. Jerry cried. Damien cried. Joe cried. I cried. Lots of water all around. After he left, we called him to tell him his mom was stealing his car. We all stayed at Jerry's house for a few more hours after he left. After we left Jerry's, Joe and I came back to my house for a bit. I showed him the Pat/squirrel/Santa Claus video. Then we went to NiKKi's. At NiKKi's, we watched Chicago.
Today, Nigel and I went to see Without a Paddle. I enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be just a stupid comedy, but they put some thought into the story. It was touching and made me want to row a canoe off a waterfall after taking it down rapids.
Jerry called me today from Pitt. He told me he likes the campus even more now than he did at first. While he was on the phone with me, he was standing by a fountain and he tried to let me listen to the water. Also, he told me his dorms are coed, which will make things better for when I go to visit him. He got off the phone to go back to his dorm. He's going on a bus tour tonight with two people he met on campus. ::wink wink:: I really hope that everything goes wonderfully for him.
