Hey, again, everyone! I hope we all had an awesome time (I know I did). BUT, we all have to get back into the groove of daily life: now we're working for the holidays!...and I'm sure we could all use some alone time as well=)
I've redone the numbers for Dragoncon. There were a lot of unexpected changes in payments (The parking garage, Gas intake, Hotel Charges, etc.) SO the original amount has fluctuated dramatically. But don't worry: I think you'll like it just fine=)
1) Gas: Original Quote - 150.00. Actual use: 102.38 over 3 stops (30.24 + 39.72 + 32.42)
2) Parking: Original Quote - 120.00 (24/day over 5 days). Actual Price: 75.00 (15/day over 5 days)
3) Hotel: Original Quote: 1023.84 (2 days @ 175.00, 2 days @ 299.00, plus 15% tax). Actual Quote: 805.00 (175.00/day for 4 days, plus taxes, MINUS internet purchase for Sunday).
SO...here's the breakdown:
-Original: 150 (gas) + 120 (Parking) + 1023.84 (Hotel) = 1293.84 / 5 people = 258.78 (258) per person
-Actual: 102.38 (gas) + 75 ( Parking) + 805 (Hotel) = 982.38 / 5 people = 196.50 per person!
Original (258) - Actual (196.50) = 61.50 per person.
That's right: you get a refund! Hoo yeah!
Cat will pay Megan and myself (we're already even: we took care of the finances before I wrote this out). Danielle will pay Laura 61.50 (for her refund, so she can get it faster) and pay the remaining balance to Catherine (135.00).
Isn't it nice to know that the con was CHEAPER than we thought?...and a LOT so!
