"GLEE and YOU"
So I FINALLY watched the Pilot for Glee...and it was awesome!
I indentify with it on an unnatural level...which I find awesome. I mean it's about a teacher who wants to teach music to kids...so that they can be themselves and show their true talents/gifts. In the end they do some amazing things that touch their heart.
It's like my hope for my teaching career...but as a sitcom (and minus the naggy wife for multiple reasons. Even IF Catherine was my wife she'd never complain about not having enough money. She IS rich, ya know...=)
It makes me feel really warm and awesome inside: gives me some hope for my profession. I haven't had a show do that for me since Frasier (for different reasons...that helped me on the nerd-dom level...but it still touched me).
I hope it goes on for a while: looks like it's a great show...and it'll be awesome to watch.
