(no subject)
SO...here's an update on my life if you're interested:
1) My 2nd (and final!) year of grad school is fast approaching! With this, I have many little things that need to get done. The main announcement for now is...Recital Dates are set! I know when my concerts are going to be!
...and yes, you read right. ConcertS...as in 2. I decided to split them up (30 min. total: 1 20 min. and 1 10 min.) to get a better experience out of it all. SOO...without further ado...
-Thursday, September 10, 2009. 8:00pm, St. Alban's Episcopal Church
-Tuesday, February 9, 2010. 8:00pm, St. Ablan's Episcopal Church
I know these times aren't the most convenient...but I have NO control over that (try telling the ENITRE music department which day you'd rather have your recital on...it won't get you anything...lol).
I'd love for people to come: anyone I know (and don't hate, lol) are welcome! Please help me spread the word...because I know I'll inevidently forget someone...and wish me luck!
The bad part of it all is that I'm 1st on both semesters (Spring and Fall). With that, I have to be prepared to start rehearsals by the 1st week of class...which means I must be prepared before that. So my summer/winter breaks are kinda gone...suck.
2) Work is basically good: nothing crazy new. The only major update is that I changed my schedule to where I now have off EVERY Sat PM and Sun AM shift! This makes planning things MUCH easier...
3) I have a new phone! I got a Samsung Eternity (b/c I'm trying to save cash for a certain Con...hehe), but it's still spiffy and awesome! I loves...I am spoiled now=)
4) I'm going visit my mother in December...or January. It's gonna be fun! We get to (with any luck) spend a day in Boston! It's gonna be all kinda of awesome!
5) I've just been kinda generically..."down" lately (in an emo kind of way)...which means something's picking at my head. In the end it's a good thing (b/c something wants to surface...which means my current stress is gone=), but that also means I have to deal with whetever heads my way. In short: if you see me "pining" (to make a bad joke, lol) or just staring off...just lemme be for a second: I may be hashing out the crap. Thanks!
6) I have costume choices! Now I should fricken start on the costumes!
I forgot the 2nd one (lol! how'd I do that???) but the first is Kyosuke Kagami from Project Justice. Take a look!

So...I think it's a nifty little costume...that hopefully won't be too hard=)
