Work.. work.. work...
Okay, so I'm terrible at keeping this thing updated. Haven't updated since September.
Well let's go back to that last post. That new job I was talking about? That one I kept talking about like it was the best thing since sliced bread? Well... It's still going great. Between then and now, I've not only moved to the more permanent(ish) Desktop Support group from the deployment team, I'm now in the server group for that company. I have been pretty much told that with this last move I'll be brought on permanent when the head count opens up. They just can't hire right off, they have to wait for the higher ups to open up slots to bring people in permanently. So it becomes a waiting game for that. Of course, when the head count opens up I'll have to go through the HR red tape that, from what I've witnessed, can take forever and a day too.
It's all good though, I like the work I'm doing and the people I'm doing it with.
