Icons: Jrock, misc. take #985483+
After this, I promise,
1)I stop spamming this journal. There's been like a million entries within four days or so. Must stop. For the sake of my entrance tests. *sighs*
2)I stop spamming this journal with jrock icons *lol* I've been putting aside too many things just so I could spent time drooling over my pretties. Next, I tackle round2 of icon battling (I didn't lie! 'Cause half of that entry will be JE, not jrock!) and the flist only batch I want to reward my commenters with and... omgz. Brain shutdown. Too much to do. Even when all my fan art projects are left aside ;_;

.The two last ones are actually made of Eraser caps. I always want to make PV icons that don't look like.. well, pv icons *lol* I like turning the video's themes and colorschemes upside-down. With Eraser, I was going to make warm and easily approachable icons but it turned out to be rather difficult and I dropped the subject after these two examples posted above. I have some nice caps of Tora and Saga I need to icon someday, so I'm likely to return to the video at some point. Right now I'm... too close to the subject I guess. Feeling too fangirly with all the awwwwws and omggggs prevents me from creating anything subjectively good *lol*
.the second set of icons. I find my inspiration from music. I was going through my folder of 90's golden hits and such and somewhere along the way I realized I had adopted "time" to be my "theme" of sorts. I really like the outcome :) It's almost like all the icons can be viewed as a continuing story, no matter how you place them.
.The first set. I genuinely believe the celebrities aren't most of the time into being... well, celebs. Living in the spotlight 24/7. I mean sure, they like it, and it's their job, but.. there're days they'd like to be doing anything but those endless interviews and photoshoots and stuff. So, from that, I started building the first set. Tora might look as cool and collected as always but only he himself knows what he's truly thinking inside his head.

.Last time around, I received a comment saying, 'Why it always have to be IsshixNao?' *lol* That got me thinking... Kagrra, actually is any-pairing-you-want!Love^_- So I went ahead and tried something a bit different. These can be viewed in totally non-OTP light as well\o/ My favourite bands, Kagrra,, alice nine. and MUCC appeal to me most because of the tight, warm relations with the members♥

.lol I wasn't able to concentrate any of these guys long enough to create a good batch of icons of them xD I've been dying to make a huge entry of MUCC and LVER icons only, but with MUCC, all the pics I wanna use are colored with this sand-brown/dirty sepian tone that is KILL and thus I always stop before I'm even properly started. And with La Vie En Rose my problem is that I can't seem to find enough good pictures of them *lol*
.I wanted to make icons of those Miyavi scans because they screamed for color :D Miyavi carries such rich colors beautifully~
