(okay the above comment was not finished because my laptop kind of hanged and the only way to salvage 4 paragraphs of comments was to post it like this)
Or rather, when I was browsing a few of the GazettE pvs, the style of the pvs and genre of music made me really really curious. And, Guren just kind of grown on me and now I can't stop singing it. AAANNDD. Seeing a picture of Uruha sometime a weeks ago also helped. Those EYES. (Okay I shall stop the lame fangirling here)
What kind of made me apprehensive about jrock at first was the vocals of songs. The way of singing is just, so , different? Not the average pop vocals. AND. I kind of downloaded alice nine.'s Q. and then it didn't made that much of an impact. Because see, I've never listened to any kind of rock before. Be it in any language.
And then I scoured and searched (and ended up going in one big round) to find the single for Guren, and also downloaded Alpha. And I was going through your track by track review when listening to it. I haven't gave the album a proper listen yet, but then I thought that ZERO was quite interesting and the other tracks also sound promising.
I'm still. Trying to know more about LM.C, alice nine. and the GazettE. I guess. There's like so many different fandoms, not fandoms particularly, but bands and artistes to take note of, and there's only so little time.
It's.. shocking and beautiful and weird and scary how some things effect that way. I get intimidated and attracted to Big Ideas and Smart Things and Alternate POV kind of things. For example, today Xeno's Paradox was brought up at school and I was quite scared by this theory, like how logic disagrees with real life, and the main background of the Matrix like how the world is just a computer data feeding into your head. Kind of thing. But then I still get very very attracted to this type of situations. And it explains my sudden interest of Death Note and the messages of gazettE's pvs are trying to convery. (My sentences can last up to 5 lines long.)
I'm trying to enjoy and find out more about jrock on a whole. And unlike until a few months ago, I'm not that biased against jrock anymore, particularly visual kei and the likes. If it was me a year ago, I wouldn't even stop to look at any jrock band, much less than look and think that Uruha has the most gorgeous eyes and lips and and and I should totally stop this.
I think. I am talking all too long. But I want to tell you that your fv really caused many things to happen. And is one of the factors for me to try to venture into jrock. ♥♥♥
