Alright. That was ... weird. Tristan just kind of fled and now Iggy was standing there, hands bloody, and a bit disoritented. Abandoning a blind person, even one that wasn't human, was a Bad Thing

Delilah's easy to find - she's always in the same spots, either sowing in the common room or outside, breathing the cool air.

In fact, if Iggy returns to the skin - he might find Delilah there, staring at it with wide eyes.

It's huge - she hasn't seen anything like this in a long time.

It's okay! Iggy owes him big for this, so wandering off isn't a big deal. As long as he takes care of the wound, Iggy'll be fine. ^^

Iggy isn't gone long, and when he didn't find her in the common room, he came back outside. His hands are clean, but there's still blood on his shirt and coat and he pauses when he hears someone nearby.

"Um, hello?"

She looks up, spots the blood immediately. "Iggy -- are you alright?"

She takes a worried step his way.

Hey, that saved him a lot of trouble. "Oh! Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." He smiles and plucks at his clothes. "I didn't change yet. I wanted to come find you first."

"Oh, is this yours?" She steps around it. "It's very large -- you should be ... it should be fine, yes?"

"I had help of course, but... I don't know. Will this work out?"

[kamloops_rose]

"If it doesn't -- I can't imagine what would not..." she kneels, to examine it. "Has Nellas seen it?"

He moves to crouch down as well. "Not yet. It's pretty fresh still."

She touches the blood. "It is. Freshly skinned. How?"

[blindbomber]

"Um, Tristan offered to help me out when I ran into him." He doesn't know if she knows him, but he's pretty worried about him.

"He just took off right now."

[kamloops_rose]

"I'm not familiar with the name," she replies, thoughtfully. "It's a bit butchered, Iggy. It will need stitches, when it's been cleaned."

"Yeah, I figured it would." He doesn't know much about this, but ... it's animal skin. It doesn't seem like it wouldbe something easy to get.

"But will it still work? I mean, can it be cleaned?"

"Yes, it can. We'll need -- a lot of salt, for this. I'll go fetch some from the magic cupboard, I think - but we won't have too much of four hands."

Delilah knows more about this than I ever will (or might, er, I may be fudging a little with canon here, it's not explicitly stated, huhuh). I'll be using this page as a reference, posting it here in case I need it again. >.> Also warning that I'm currently re-reading her canon and that might mean a few re-adjustments (I hadn't really realized a few things about her and am not sure how I can rectify that. But I'll be working on it.)

"Um, okay. Just, let me know what I can do and I'll do it." He knows that salt is for drying things so... He guesses that this will work here too...

No worries! Iggy's totally lost, so whatever happens, he's going to go along with. (and I know about re-reading canon. I'm doing that too with Iggy and Tony, just in case)

"We'll probably need a bucket," she says. "So we'll have to find that and fill it with salt. Then we can spread that on the skin, take it to the cellar, and in two days, we'll clean it up."

"A bucket. Okay." He relaxed a bit at that. "Two days? That's all?"

Iggy thought it would take a lot longer than that to dry a skin like this.
