I don't know how the Amish do it, 52 hours without electricity in scorching weather nearly killed me, instead it killed my debit card at the malls which still had AC.
STL has handled this rather well, tonight the police were driving up and down my street with their search lights on to detur break ins of cars and houses. They stopped at my car because I have been sitting out there using the car battery as my cell phone battery, they were friendly and moved along after they confirmed I was not stealing an Astro Van.
Tivo is calling my name, even though I know it didn't record when the power was out.
All is well, and life is just dandy lately. Why is it that sometimes everything goes your way and is all great, and then when your down it feels like you just keep getting kicked.
Im off work for the weekend, i feel like I should go do some community service, like clean up trees, or help my neighbor rebuild his habitat 4 humanity homes that had the 2nd level framing ripped away. Humm...if its not too hot i just may.
Off to try on the new wardrobe. And I can IRON it now!
