I do have to agree with the Jess girl, Blindy, sorry. I think the whole thing will bring light to the fact that most people who DO cut do it for attention and not because they're truly depressed. There's better ways to go about supporting the day than wearing beads.
No offence or anything, you're a great guy, but I don't think anyone can claim to cutting because it makes them feel better. People who cut do it because they've heard that that's what you do when you're depressed, which is why more teenagers do it than adults; they're a lot more impressionable.
I know you're still going to support the day no matter what I say because you're a strong-willed person, but if I see the beads on Tuesday then I get to feed them to you. Haha, just kidding man, we all love you.

But some don't, and it's those people who I'm doing my best to help, because I was one of them. I never cut for attention, and one point which supports that is that no-one knew I did cut, because I hid it and never spoke about it...I've only started speaking about it because I think I can help people and I want to help people who have nowhere else to turn. The majority make a mockery of a problem which is all to real for the minority, and only those who've been in the minority can do anything to help.
