• will probably not be going to Animethon this year, EVEN THOUGH I JUST FOUND OUT voldemortistxx IS GOING WAH. X( i booked the weekend off in the midst of my excitement, but that was before finding out that emocezi has to pass this year, leaving me with no one to drag around. and then the boss lady asked me if i couldn’t work the weekend anyway, so now i’d only ble to go Friday morning, which… yeah. it’s sad to think of missing out on something that’s by now an annual custom, but i probably won’t make it in. and i wanted a DRRR!! poster, too. ;_;
• working on watching series from my giant collection of anime, the one that has taken up most of the space on my external hard drive. X[ i’ve gotten through Hatenkou Yugi, the second season of Spice and Wolf, and Kurozuka so far this month. i’ve always liked Spice and Wolf, and HY was sort of pointless but mildly amusing fluff. Kurozuka, though… ugh, what shit. :[ the build-up was intense, which made the final resolution that much worse. Stephen King did it much, much better and with less melodramatic self-masturbation. DELETING, KTHX. maybe i’ll try Chaos;Head next.
• saw Avatar with Nik on Saturday. i miss hanging with my ho on a regular basis. ♥ leaving high school behind sucks in that way. what was ordinary then isn't always ordinary afterward, relationships included. buuuut before this turns into a angst bucket post, today her, emocezi, and i got together to see Inception and hang out.
• RE: Inception. you gotta love a movie that engages your imagination at the same time it’s entertaining you. enjoyed it immensely, to put it lightly. JGL especially.
