people are stupid. do we really need to be told this?

case in point: our heatwave finally snapped in the expected way. meaning, we got a shitter of a storm. the sky didn't just go dark blue, it went utterly pitch black, really fast, and then it was pissing rain and hail all over the place. since the liquor store's entrance door gets caught by the wind fairly easily, we locked it, and put up a big sign saying 'PLEASE USE OTHER DOOR'. please note, the giant neon 'open' sign was on throughout all of this.

for the entire length of the shitstorm? no one, and i repeat, no one heeded the obvious. they'd come up to the entrance, pull it, look at me, and then stand there, glaring at me and yanking at the locked door. even when the storm stopped, it was the same deal.

seriously, people. take a fucking hint. there's a point when you stop being amusing, and start to be really, really, really sad.

edit: okay, okay, this one guy made me laugh. he was talking about how effed up it was near his acreage, and just the way he said, "i thought we were going for a ride. in a cloud," was funny. LOL, but sorry about your neighbour's car, dude. that tree should've known better than to fall on it.

wank, work, annoying things, life stuff, wtf, just that kind of day, bitchrant
