This weekend was full of lots of emotions.
Took the train (first train I've ever been on.) down to Maryland on Saturday~ It was nice :] Got to David and Kellie's house and chilled out for a while. Sarah showed up :DDDD And we hung out with just us girlies for a while. There was much discussion of naming our child Napkins. Then Jaaaaay came and we played Rock Band with us and the little cousins. Was awesome 8D JAY IS REALLY GOOD AT SINGING CRUSHHHHH AND GOOOO~OOOOO~ XD After that, we headed out to Katana to get some delicious Japanese foods 8D Was soooo gooooood. I had lotsa eeeel 8D Then we went on adventures through the ghettos of Baltimore to get to Bengie's Drive In to see Iron Man 8D After several run ins with security for uhhh...HEADLIGHTS we got in XD and omg it was so much fuuuuuuuunnnn. *A* Cuddling under blankets at the drive in, under the stars with the people I love is really wonderful ;~; I was soooo happy. I love you guys so fucking much. After getting home, I stayed up till 4 trying to finish my eulogy~
Saturday was the memorial for our aunt. Woke up to the screaming little cousins at 8. So bad XD I stayed up and finished my eulogy. Got all pretty and went to the memorial party.
I have never met so many people who knew SO MUCH about me and I had never met them. They all hugged me and told me how much my aunt Joyce loved me. It was really touching. A lot of them even knew about cosplay because my aunt was so proud to tell them about all the crazy costumes we would make and how we would get ready for Otakon and AUSA and other cons at her house.
I read my eulogy and it was really special. I had everyone laughing and crying by the end so that's good, I suppose. A lot of people asked me for copies of it afterward so I hope I made them happy by sharing my memories. ;;
If anyone wants me to post the eulogy I will.
I feel some emotional closure. This is good. I'm hoping my heart can calm down a bit.
After a nap, Jay came back over and we played Rock Band and watched Ninja Warrior. Was good after all that emotional stuffs. He's pretty awesome.
Got home today. Have been restless. Ali came over and made me feel better.
Now I am hungry and sleepy so I guess I will go~
