Sign-up for single-author division
Hikago Day is two months away...which means it's time to sign up for the third round of blind_go! This round will be devoted to long!fic (at least 5000 words) and will also include a division for collaborations (fics jointly written by two authors). Please note that if you plan to submit a collaboration, you must comment in a separate sign-up thread. This sign-up thread is for the single-author division only.
You are allowed to sign up for both the single-author and collaboration divisions. Please note however that we are only allowing one submission per division. (In other words, you can submit a fic written by yourself and a fic written with another author, but you cannot submit two fics written by yourself or two fics written jointly.)
1. Writers interested in submitting for the challenge sign up by commenting to the post by March 24, 2007, 11:59 PM EST. Leave the following information in the comments:

Writing archive: (can be a link to LJ memories, a fic LJ or a separate site)
2. Those who sign up will be emailed with a unique ID and the password to the bg.submissions Gmail account. Submissions should be emailed from this Gmail account in the following format:
To: bg.submissions@gmail.com
Subject: [ID number] Title
In the body of your email, please include the following:
Title:
ID:
Word count:
Themes used: (only if participating in the theme challenge)
(text of fic)
If your fic exceeds 10,000 words (or the LiveJournal post word limit), please indicate chapter divisions so that we can post your fic in proper installments. Please also include HTML tags for any formatted text in your fic (e.g. for italics, for bold, for underline). (The mods will certainly doublecheck to make sure all formatted text is tagged properly prior to posting but it will help us post faster if you include them.)

4. Fics will be posted through answer_key within two days after the submission deadline. The members of the community will also be supplied with a list of all the authors that wrote for the challenge and their writing archives, in the interest of facilitating the guessing game.
5. Community members will post their guesses in an entry with screened comments. Writers will be allowed to guess for all fics that are not their own. The answers, along with the members with the highest percentage of correct guesses, will be posted one week after the fics are first posted.

- All fics must be for the Hikaru no Go fandom. Crossovers and AUs areallowed as long as the writing features Hikaru no Go characters.
- This round will be for long!fic only. Word count must be at least 5000 words.
- Writers can only submit one submission per division. (We know that many of you enjoy the challenge of multiple submissions, but we hope that your energy for this round will be invested in writing the longest story that you can.)
- There are no restrictions on genre, rating or pairing.
- Writers may choose to write in their usual style or disguise it as they wish.
- There will be a theme challenge based on a list of themes compiled by the mods, but you are by no means obligated to incorporate the themes into your submission.
