Oh, that figures! xD I had one more right and then I went and changed it right before posting the guesses. I did think that it's probably a bad idea to change anything, but when did I ever listen to myself... ^^
Just to make sure as I'm new to this: does honorable mention get a banner too?

I know that feeling. But most of the time when I went wrong this round I was just plain wrong and utterly surprised at the true IDs.

Would you like to compare notes?
Here are mine:

Win - bonito, chahan, kamaboko & soba, kansui, katsuobushi, lekei, momofuku, moyashi, nissin, nori, shina & wonton

Fail - chuuka, kaedama, kurobuta, nama, naruto, ninniku, shoyu, tonkotsu, tsukenmen, wakame, yaki-nori

Fail: bonito, kurobuta, lekei, momofuku, nama, naruto, nori, shina, shoyu, wonton, yaki-nori

And now that I went through my list, I noticed that moyashi was missing there. Sure enough, counting them, I had in fact posted only 23 guesses. I guess I just fail in general.... *headdesk*

(About the ID challenge, last Saturday I ate ramen for the first time in my life. The menu had a lot of words that sounded quite familiar - wakame, tsukenmen, etc... - and after that it didn't take much to connect ramen & Hikaru. Too bad I couldn't get online at the correct time. ^^)

You worked out the theme of the author IDs. I only got as far as food. Does his mean you are a ramen fan?

I looked up my ID (one I didn't recognise) - seems I am chicken-flavored!

Well... not really (unfortunately, I've just eaten ramen once in my life). It's just that when I saw "naruto", the first thing that came to my mind was ramen, then I kinda google a bit and make a wild guess ^_^

Awesome round, everyone. :D Okay, so I only got around to reading about half the fics, but still!

(Also. For the banner, is there a particular size the image should be? Though I'm still not sure how that happened, the theme thing was pretty half-assed and last minute. O_o)
