I calculated statistics based on data for the past three rounds of blind_go. I wanted to post these before the deadline for the fourth round passed, to see how accurate my predictions for this round would be.

So, have you always been a stats geek? *grin*

I have to admit I got a bit lost in the numbers (as numbers are not my thing, it seems, unless the number is 5), but this is very informative. I'm hoping I'll have over 250,000 words to read on reveal day. ^_^ (My only regret is that a book I really want is also coming out that day... and now I'll have to decide which to read first.)

Would you believe it if I said I'm not really a math fan? XD I do love seeing trends and such though, which is why I enjoyed doing this.

I apologize for the number overload. I was planning to do more pretty graphics, but realized I was running out of time to post.

Robin McKinley's "Dragonhaven". (Check out a little sample at .) Although, I've also just realized that the book comes out on the 20th, and a friend has promised me the book as a late birthday present... a friend who lives an hour away. So, we'll see if I have the book in time, or now. ^_^

Thank you! I wish I had more graphics and explanations, but I suppose I now know how blind_go authors feel like at deadline. XD

I will just nod, put up my Tsutsui glasses, and hope I don't look as silly at not understanding statistics as I feel. But ooooh, look at the yield ratings. *dances for more fic to read*
