What can I say. I am on the other end of the wire here, but in a way i know exactly what you are talking about. I moved away and left my best friend. I was so ready to start all over again with a new slate. But I was missing something my best friend. Although we talk almost everyday the thing is is that it isn't the same as riding in the car with the radio blarring screeming "Big Eyed Fish" at the top of your lungs. I guess its a good thing thought so that the two of us can learn to stand alone find our own way with ocasionally whispers of wisdom from our best friend.
