I stood my ground today and said I wouldn't fly the plane. When I came back from lunch I was told to collect my things and go....Cste la vie.

It didn't have to be this way.

In the real world there is 6 degrees of separation between any two people. In aviation, its generally less than three. I can report them to the FAA but its more likely to make trouble for my friends that are still employed there than it will for Scott. The only real thing I can do is wait for his company to implode and then rub it in when it does. Truth be told, that place is in some serious trouble due to his bad management.

I am calling our FAA Principle Operations Inspector but I doubt anything will come of it.

A few weeks ago I had the idea that maybe I should try and become a curator of an Aviation Museum. That could combine both of my major dork fascinations...Aviation AND History...that would be great.

I can't wait to see the museums in Dallas again.
