what really happened
Ok so here's what happened.
About a week ago a system file in Victoria crashed and so basically she was for all intensive purposes brain dead. So up until now I've had to browse the net on a craptastic home PC or Lappy. Not fun.
I've been in a verbal battle with Microsoft all day. Because I got my copy of XP for Victoria through SUNYIT they can't help me because "I'm no longer a student there". Bullshit. Anyways I found a home re-install disk from my parents PC and formatted that then using the activation code from Lappy installed and verified Windows. (holds for applause)
So now that all that nonsense is out of the way I'm re-installing all my programs, files etc. None of it was lost thanks to my Zen and portable HD.
