Old poetry...
Short-lived,
Unsuspecting your reaction.
It ripped away my traction.
If I had any to begin with.
Too stupid to die,
Cuz I can’t bring myself to do
What I think I should do.
Bleed the life,
Turn heat to ice.
I have only myself to blame.
Got wrapped up in this lame game.
It was only a lie,
Covered by your smile.
Now I’m left with
Despise for anything,
Except isolation.
Keep myself safe,
That’s what matters.
Ignore the glass that shattered,
And cut myself crawling to shelter.
If there is such a thing
As shelter from my own mind.
