Wanderlust
I've been researching grad schools lately. I'm trying to avoid UK, but nothing else is doable. It's the cheapest and I could see my family and friends. My "dream" school would be the University of British Columbia. It's in one of the regions I want to live in and it's the second-cheapest as far as tuition. If the airfare weren't so expensive, I would go there. I WANT to get away. But money is a huge obstacle...
So I'm thinking about getting away a different way. I'm starting to look into summer work programs, in Alaska for example. Maybe that would accomplish the same things?
All I know is that if I don't get away now, it will be too late. I don't want to have a comfortable, ordinary life.
