Don't let me advise you.

Registration has been a little hectic this year. I thought I had it all figured out, but so far I've had two major hiccups in my plan. I'm not qualified to self-advise, it seems.

1. "Oh, btw, you need to take these 2 classes before you can register for your capstone." The capstone is only offered in the fall, meaning, if I don't take it this fall, I have to come back for an extra semester (Fall 2011). I never got the memo about ENG 342 and ENG 332 being prerequisites for the capstone. I was going to take those next semester and the following semester, respectively. The English department people are going to be kind of nice and let me register for it with only 1 of those completed. So I'm having to make my parents spend $912 so I can take an online class during the summer and go that route.
2. "Oh, btw, you have a minor." I had figured up that I had 7 required classes left. CMSP 108 [Public Speaking (terror!!!)], ENG 332, 342, 390, 395, 435, and 499C (the senior capstone course). I thought, "Hey, that means I'll graduate on time and only have to take 12 hours each semester! I don't know how that happened, but I like it!" With ENG 332 now moved to the summer, I thought I needed to add in some random other class. But while I was happily and freely searching for something interesting to take, I realized... "OMG. I FORGOT ABOUT MY MINOR." That adds 3 classes to my heap.

So here's my tentative schedule for next semester:

Any Time CMSP*108*302 Public Speaking w/ E. Earl (Online)

Maybe I should just drop the summer class and come back for an extra semester. It will be paid for, and it will prevent me from killing myself from the stress.
[ETA 04/12/2010 1:03 a.m.: I dropped the summer class and am not taking the capstone 'til Fall 2011. Let's be realistic.]

Weeee'll seeeeee
