Lunch tales

Went to the Mad Greek Deli for lunch. I had assumed they meant mad as in crazy. No. They meant angry.

Did you at least get a decent gyro?

Lamb? I know that sounds redundant, but I ate at a Greek place once and they had a choice of lamb, chicken or steak.

real gyros are always lamb, but some people seem to have an aversion to eating cute, cuddly things. mmm cute, cuddly things on the bbq

Ooh, that place looks cool. I wanna go!

Did their "sense of humor" translate to "asshole-ishness"?

hahahahah yeah. pretty much. The guy called us when our food was up, and when we weren't there .043 seconds later, he started shouting. It was pretty crazy.

Hi =) You know, I really do miss the station. Especially the free equipment thing ;-)

Congrats on the livejournal job! It sounds like fun.

Thanks :) It is fun.

Yeah, I miss it too... though I was never big on the shooting and editing. I'm more of a director and producer. I certainly don't miss the politics and bullshit.

Now for a totally random question... lorimae May 29 2004, 04:33:38 UTC
What do the highlighted numbers on the left side of your post stand for?

Highlighted numbers? You mean like in the lower left?

One of the cool things you can do with S2 is to get the itemid of a post. You can divide that by 256 and it will give you the number of that post, sequentially. So if you look at my style and see #47, it means that's the 47th post I've made.

The only downside is that it doesn't take into account deleted entries. That's why the count on my userinfo and the count on my actual journal are different.
