On the ant front:

GrDragonL: I saw like 20 ants in the kitchen
GrDragonL: come back a couple of hours later after more work on the car

GrDragonL: so sunday morning... get them all vacuumed up and close off the hole they were getting in through with tape...
GrDragonL: monday morning... they chewed through the tape and hundreds are back
GrDragonL: I've gotta get to work... so I pour windex, mr. clean, and dish detergent all around where they're getting in through
GrDragonL: seems to have stopped the flow, but stragglers are still all over
GrDragonL: haven't vacuumed them up again
