What? You want to *pay* me?
Remember my Howard 'n' Vince dolls that I put on etsy MONTHS ago in the hope that someone might just buy them one day?
They actually have. Someone actually paid $72 (or £43.65) for my knitting. Wheeee! Okay so it's not huuuuge amounts but it's enough to hopefully get Gary Numan tickets for November. He's playing my uni the day after my birthday, so obviously Anton and I have to go and see him :D
I'm happy and excited that someone actually considered something I made to be worth paying real money for. Yay for buzzy highs :)
Such a good day today, all in all. Woke up at ten-ish this morning but didn't get up until gone eleven just because of... well, cuddles :) These are my favourite kinds of mornings, the ones where you don't have to get up so you just stay in bed for a couple of hours nattering and having a proper comfy lovely cuddle and your very well-trained boyfriend brings you tea while you're still all snoozy and everything's absolutely perfect.
Watched a war film this morning with Antony and John, which had the immortal quote "Don't poke the AOC with your pipe." Then Dodgeball, which is always funny. And even the first episode of Life On Mars with - and who could forget - "It's almost dinner time, I'm 'aving 'oops." Many a lol was had.
Think we're going to a museum or something tomorrow, assuming cramps of doom don't kick in. Can't wait. And going to Brum next wednesday to see Meg! I should probably actually book train tickets heh.
