It's raining ^_^ I've always liked the rain, especially when it's warm summer rain. Mmmm. It was better yesterday though, when the weather was doing that thing where it's raining and the sky's really dark but somehow down here it's still really bright. Lovely. It was raining when I left Antony's, and he offered me a lift up the hill to where my car was parked so I wouldn't get wet, but I quite enjoy walking in the rain so I declined. It was beautiful, even just walking along a street in Anstey. I might try and persuade him to go for a walk with me later if it's still wet.
So. Erm. What's actually happened in the... ooh, whole 17 hours since I last updated? Not a lot. Took another step on the road to 'not being a doormat' (it's a long road. I might write a self-help course on it and be one of those awful people who speak in a constantly soothing voice and use obscure phrases), took full advantage of my dad's premier account at HSBC to get them to sort my account out again and subsequently paid my first month's rent on the Southampton house, did a bit of knitting and not a whole lot else. I found some beautiful wool in sea colours in Button Boutique so as soon as I can I'll get that for a lovely scarf or something. Also found out that the yarn I want to knit with the the lovely rosewood needles are just right for each other, and though technically I could just get the yarn and knit on regular needles but... I just want the rosewood ones! Anton keeps going on about buying them for me, I might have to let him. Though I'll take him out for dinner in return, I owe him about £4 anyway heh. Actually I probably owe him a lot more than that in fuel and food but I don't think he's counting!
Mmm, happytimes. My first year results haven't come through yet though. Quite a few people got them yesterday, but we haven't even had any post today, so maybe later...? Meh, it's almost 100% certain that I've passed so I've nothing to worry about, I think to get under the pass mark I'd have had to get absolutely zero marks in each one of about the last 6 essays I wrote and somehow I think that's unlikely! I'm expecting a 2:2 though I might just scrape a 2:1 if I'm very lucky/am better at critical theory than I know (it would be the first one. I'm definitely not good at critical theory. Urgh.) This year doesn't count towards anything anyway so it doesn't matter.
Right. I'm off to hunt for more bootsale items to hopefully make moneys for daytrips, and perhaps even a proper holiday next year :)
