Ahhh, I'm having an epic few days :) Well, epic in that it's awesome. Perhaps epic isn't quite the right word.
Came up to Leicester on Friday evening, which seemed to take forever. I got in from my seminar and literally put down my school stuff, picked up my travel bag and headed back out to the train station. I'd got up at 6:30 that morning after about four hours sleep and had been rushing around all day, I was knackered. This lead to a memorable phone conversation as I was pulling into Leicester station where I talked for some kind about Mr Kipling cakes and how Angel Slices are yummy but sound sinister but their colour makes up for it...
Anywho, been staying at Anton's which has been muchos funtimes. Went to Atherstone on Saturday night to a small gig at a wine bar and finally met the legendary Tammy, Matt Dey and Jules (Jools? Dunno how he spells it). Good times, even though there weren't enough seats and my feet almost died from badly-fitting M&S shoes XD
I was meant to go back to Southampton yesterday, but just before I was meant to leave in the morning:
me: Bah, I don't want to go. I don't even really need to be there til Friday.
Anton: ...so don't go yet.
Me: *dithers for a bit*
Anton: Your train ticket lasts for three more weeks.
Me: yeah k I'll stay.
So I was at his last night, staying with my parents tonight and back to his tomorrow. Then hometiems on Thursday.
We've been trying to write a song with much fail. Mostly because I don't 'get' anything even remotely technical to do with music, so he'll keep asking me 'where I want to snare to fall' or 'what sorts of interval would sound nice' and it just results in a o_0 face on my part. We'll get there though.
We've also been talking about starting a Burlesque Jazz band XD I'll admit I'm mostly in it for the costumes but, yay, jazz and yay, singing. It wouldn't be modern burlesque - I'm not a stripper - but a little classier, all corsets and ruffley skirts and fishnets and so on :D Plus I just think the whole concept could really work, and we'd be the only people doing it, pretty much.
Ohh, I'm having a good time. Mostly because I get to see the boy's gorgeous face lots XD He said he might cut all his hair off tonight though. I can't complain because I don't want to be all controlling and so on - it's his hair, he can do what he likes with it - but a little bit of me is all "D: D: D: D:" because I LOVE his hair. It's curly and gorgeous and exactly the same colour and texture of mine. Still, he might not do it. We shall find out tomorrow!
