I totally know that feeling!

Very cool! Where are you going to be Student Teaching? Super cool about the subbing possibility!

BTW- I sent my mom a Deadliest Wedding card, and she mentioned James' "biting sacrcasm." Biting sarcasm is why she didn't persue a teaching carreer. She worked as a sub in Kentucky, but found that when she became frustrated, some really amazingly nasty things would just pop out of her mouth. For the most part it was stuff that went over the kids heads, but smart kids are everywhere.

The moral of the story? Don't be my mom, I guess...But then, you aren't, so I think you'll be a great, non-sarcastic teacher!

I'm going to be student teaching at Mountain View Middle School in Bonney Lake. I got my assignment today, and I'll be with a 6th grade teacher, teaching language arts/social studies. Although I'm pretty sarcastic, I think I can hold it in while I'm at school. And being that it's a physical impossibility, I think I'm in the clear!
