[ACTION - Backdated to DAY 1 - OPEN for any residents in/around 341 Brady Lane (mid morning) or 1123 Taylor Road (late morning/afternoon)]
[Sin had never experienced fresh destruction before. Sure, he'd seen ruins from the Crusades, he knew that Gear attacks had looked this way back then- Sol had told him all about that stuff, and he'd seen the

Good work on not dying, I guess.

What the hell happened here!? [He kicks over a large chunk of wooden paneling blocking his path.] One day I'm stuffing my face-- [And man did that drone mom cook a good meal, seriously]-- And now the whole place is leveled!?

Can't say much for specifics yet, though.

[He's panicking.]
Apocalypse? You don't mean...... Like, a 'Merciless Apocalypse'? [Not that he'd had any idea what the hell that meant, but he'd heard the old man and the bird talking about it back then, and he knew it had to do with that weird Valentine chick, and that it was bad. Really bad.]
[But somehow this didn't seem quite right. Mostly due to the lack of creepy wrench-and-balloon-wielding chicks.]
Why the hell is this place always blowing up, anyway? [He coughs a little, waving dust away as he flings another few pieces of wreckage out of his way. He wasn't feeling so hot...]

So what, there are levels of apocalypse I didn't know about? A wide range of terms and all that shit. Oh no, we're officially at merciless-tier but at least it's not abandon-all-hope?

[Leaving out the fact that the cause of that apocalypse was his grandmother, technically. Multiple apocalypses? What an interesting way of looking at things, Sin thought. Maybe Strider was right.]
[There you go, Bro, putting whacky ideas in his impressionable 2 year old head again. Shameful.] I wouldn't even mind it so much if I just had my damn powers back. It'd be no problem, then. But my mother at least should be okay, since her systems're back...
--Oi, you haven't seen my flag in this mess, have you?

...As far as we can tell. It's not like we can see out of this shitty town, anyway.

[ ...eh. ] Nah, nah, the world isn't over 'til the meteors start hitting.
Reply
Why meteors? Those're like, spacerocks, right?
Reply
Yeah. Big chunks of rock just floating around in space, orbiting whatever shit pulls 'em in. Unless they're hurtling towards the earth.
Reply
And... then what? [So they hit the Earth, SO WHAT? Somebody here doesn't have much grasp on the concept of mass x velocity = force.]
[(Sorry Bro science kind of took a nosedive after their first apocalypse happened. Also this is Sin you're talking to.)]
Reply
.....well. The short version is basically the fact that huge-ass rocks speeding towards Earth en masse will reduce the planet to a giant dirt clod covered in corpses and steaming craters. Usually.
Reply
Yeah, that's bad. But how would we even know, since we can't get outta town, anyway?
[You know apart from that enormous mushroom cloud off in the distance, which he's just taken note of.] ..The hell...?
