Sorry for the double post, but...

You'd think that when you go to hang out with a friend that you haven't seen in a while that she would stop talking to her boyfriend on instant messenger to actually hang out with you or something.  It's really frustrating when you're trying to have fun and then end up sitting and watching TV as she types away on the computer.  Unless we are actually using the computer, I don't mess with it when I have friends over.  I really hate it when my friends are in relationships because all they ever talk about is their boyfriend or girlfriend and then they end up braking up and they whine at me and I don't feel bad for them.  It's really frustrating.  Talked to my sister and she said I probably wouldn't understand because I'm so independent that I don't need other people in the way that some do.  The exact words that she used was "Jenny, you don't need other people to love you to make you feel whole.  You love yourself more than enough than to depend on another person to do it for you.  It's not a bad thing.  You aren't gonna spend your life getting your heart broken like everyone else."

My sister is terribly insightful in ways that don't involve academics.

Friends+Relationships+Me=Bad, boring times.

friends, family
