Just a Couple of Things...
So, yesterday was kick ass at my internship. I went out on the boat w/two reserve officers and they let ME drive the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office boat up and down the Willamette! Holy S was that a blast. Keep in mind being on the river and helping river patrol has been my first contact with boats since I was 5, PLUS I have never driven a boat, so this was super awesome. After spending 2 hours on the river---- keeping the waters safe, of course!--- I went to the Hansen bldg and helped out the homicide detectives with a case. I continued to do that today and will help out a little bit on Monday. The detective said he'll buy me lunch for my help---- how can a jobless (don't start job w/Alaska Airlines til the 8th), poor college student turn that down? ;-)
Just got done watching Over There on FX----- I recommend anyone who has FX and an hour to spare watch this mini-series. Steven Bochco is genius, it's been written up in various media sources (reputable even), and isn't one sided, in my opinion. Just my two cents. :-)
