dating and the states

why do guys like to take it upon themselves whether they think they're good enough for you or not? a couple of months ago i was dating this one guy, and everything was going great. he was the type of guy that i could see myself with, someone who didn't mind my music nerdiness, in fact who actually supported it, and we had a great time tother. but then he stopped calling. and didn't answer phone calls. and just blew me off. and i didn't get it. apparently he doesn't think he's good enough for me and took the liberty of breaking any sort of contact with me for that reason. i mean, we talked today and there's really a lot more going on with him and he "isn't in a place for a relationship", which i don't mind knowing, but i would've liked to know that when i was being blown off. whatever. anyway, i've had a couple of ex's say the same thing. "i'm not good enough for you, and you should find someone better than me, like a doctor or something". don't i have a say in who i think is good for me? i mean sure i'm not in the best place in my life right now for a relationship, but regardless of who i'm dating, whether he's a guy who's got it together or someonw who's a complete wreck, i think i'm capable of making my own decision. i dunno. i guess when the right guy comes along he's gonna know that i'm too good for him anyway but he'll do whatever to not let me go. HAHA i crack myself up!!!

y'all should go see "Because I Said So". it's a really good chick flick. :) i love girls night out!

and you should try to name all fifty states (spelling included) in less than 10 minutes. i dare you. if you can do it let me know...i don't think i know of someone who has.

being sick sucks...i have a cold and cannot stop coughing. (and why is coughing pronounced "coffing" and not spelled with a ph?) i hate being sick. but girls night out was fun!

i apparently offended someone today when we went out to eat chilli's when i asked my friend if her sister's boyfriend was emo. i think my exact words were, "he's not emo, is he?" of course, i was drinking, so i may have said it a little too loudly, but the guys that were sitting in front of us turned around and gave us a weird look. i didn't know i was insulting anyone! so i guess we have to be really careful about what we say and where we say it. i think that's retarded. but that's today's society. like in education, a mentally disabled child isn't called special ed or metally disabled or retarded...they're called special needs students. i'm sorry, i forgot that when we're in public we have to be politically correct. oops.

emo, chick flick, states, boys
