currently watching You've Got Mail.
well, last night i had the most interesting conversation i've had in a long time. getting reaquainted with good old friends is the best thing in the world. =) small talk is for punks.
christine, thanks. for all the late night talks, the advice, the bitching and whining, your over-analyzing everything....what would i do without you?
my sister just told me i look like a coffee person. (i'm sitting at my computer drinking hot chocolate because my mom buys decaf coffee). the best compliment i can receive! lol.
so as every second passes by, this girl begins to look at the decisions that she's made over time about everything in general, but mostly about her past relationships. well, one in particular. we tell her that she needs to make up her mind about what she wants. and stick to it. and i think we've made a break through. she's known that it's not worth killing time over. she just needs to break away and be free. which she already is, but she needs to convince her heart of it. he's no good for her. and he's not really trying. or at least that's the way it seems. i think he just uses her, but she can't stick up for herself. dunno why. she did it once before. she just needs to grow some balls (not literal ones, just guts). lol...
let me ask y'all this: is it better to think the best of people, of to think the worst?
her biggest fear is this: that she gives him all the time in the world, gives up on him, moves on to someone else, someone who isn't him (as in can't hold her like he used to, as in can't kiss her the same way he used to, and doesn't know her like he used to), moves on to someone that cares and is there for her, and he comes back and it's too late. she needs to move on, doesn't she? there's no point anymore in her trying. i keep telling her but she doesn't listen. there's a cute guy in her theory class we tell her to go for. we'll see!
aren't the Home Alone movies the best? well, 1 and 2 actually. not too fond of the 3rd one though.
i really need to stop eating chocolate. my 5 year old student gave me a basket full of chocolate! and i can't eat it! and christine, damn you woman for giving me a BOX FULL OF CANDY CANES! AND FUDGE! and today i had a mocha frappuccino (in the bottle) AND hot chocolate. my teeth hurt! i really do learn the hard way.
oh well. w/e.
