Day of Silence
Hi Everyone!
Tomorrow is the Day of Silence. Here's the rundown:
Dress in black. I have a few more rainbow ribbon pins if you want one (it's just a sign of support to show people which community you're supporting, I'm still gonna be straight and wear my big ol' rainbow ribbon).
From when you get up until the Breaking of the Silence, no talking, IMing, sign language, writing. You know what to and not to do under certain situations.
(You might want to leave an away message on your IM and a explanation on your door of what you're doing to alert people).
For the Breaking we're meeting at 5 at University Green. I'll try to be outside my building at 4:45 for anyone who wants to walk with me. We'll be marching across campus, and then we break the silence at 6 and Brittany K-something is singing an original song (I've heard from about 30 people she's awesome).
And that's it! Hooray! DRAG SHOW is this Saturday, 7:30 at Ball Gym. Don't forget to bring money to tip the drag queens and kings!!! All money goes to the Damien Center www.damien.org it's a great cause to help family affected by AIDS, when 60% of their clients make less than $6,000 a year. And some of your favorites (and some great new ones) are coming back!
