[Background] All we know about her before her first appearance is that she met the Zashiki-Warashi at one point, and the two became friends.
When she does appear, she comes to Yuuko's wish-granting shop, where she sends Yuuko's worker, Watanuki, to a hydrangea, asking him vaguely to help it. There, he manages to help lead a girl's soul to rest, before waking up next to her corpse buried under the hydrangea. After that, her body is reported to the police. As it turns out, however, the Ame-Warashi couldn't care less about the girl--she was simply worried because the body was poisoning the hydrangea. After telling this to Watanuki, she disappears, but not before telling him to return the White Day's gift (referring to how the Zashiki-Warashi gave him a Valentine's Day chocolate). As payment, required by the shop, she later gives them the Kudaikitsune, aka the pipe fox.
Her next and currently final appearance is when she and the Zashiki-Warashi show up to meet Watanuki, who'd just finished healing from severe injuries. After giving out her usual insults, she makes a cryptic comment about the rarity of Watanuki's existence, and then leaves with the Zashiki-Warashi.
[Personality] The Ame-Warashi is blunt, proud, and aggressive, often whacking people on the head with her parasol. She has no problems with saying what's on her mind, and it's usually not anything nice, given that she doesn't think too highly of most--especially humans. As far as she's concerned, there's no reason for her to be kind to them, seeing as how they have no respect for nature. Nature = very important to the Ame-Warashi, since it's what she deals in.
However, she does have a softer side that she sometimes shows. In her debut, despite insulting Watanuki and hitting him on the head, she uses a gentler tone when asking for his help, and even thanks him when he does. She still thinks he's stupid and not any good, though, and can't imagine why the Zashiki-Warashi likes him, so that side of her isn't a good indicator of how fond she is of a person.
[Specialties/Abilities] Her abilities aren't really expanded on, but it's said that she's responsible for the rain. She's also been shown to be able to teleport and fly away on her parasol like Mary Poppin, along with having some degree of omniscience. She's also sensitive to auras, which is why she didn't help the hydrangea herself--she couldn't get near it without bringing harm to herself.

[Fighting] I don't think the Ame-Warashi has any real offensive capabilities, but being able to teleport comes in handy. Oh, and she's a spirit, so exorcism is technically the only way to kill her. I think? It's a bit iffy, since she's not your average spirit.
