decisions decisions
so i started back to school last night. i am taking "survey of mathmatics"...the last class i have to take at the community college before i can enroll at NC state. i do pray that i pass...haha...it is MUCH more difficult than i thought it would be! arg! of course its math so i knew it wouldnt be easy, but yeah....it is all about word problems! BLUH! i got there last night and the prof. told me that she had decided to not take any breaks and just teach straight through so that we could get out at 9:30 instead of 9:55...ok so that's all good and well except that the class starts at 7:10...so from 7:10 until 9:30 i will be hearing about math---no chance to stop and catch my breath or run outside and scream really loud or anything....WHEW...2 hrs. and 20 min. of nonstop math. ill be impressed if i live through the semester :-P
so have any of you guys seen the movie "Donnie Darko"? ok well if not I wouldnt reccomend it! hahah. megan, one of my managers at work is on this kick to make me watch all these random wierd movies that have come out in the last couple years, that one being the first one on the list. i mean, the description on the back of the box had something to do w/ a derranged talking rabbit--that should have been my first clue that something was a little crazy!!! oh well--i am watching the movies she picks out but in return i am making her watch all the classics that she has never seen....karate kid 1,2 and 3, the goonies, princess bride, the never ending story....haha...not quite an even trade but we shall see. i am not sure i can handle it though....she is going to school to be a forensic pathologist so she can deal w/ all manner of goryness, whereas i get freaked out in elf when the doc pricks buddy's finger!!! hahahaha.....mmmm....
so i am applying for a manager position at work i believe. the close date on the position was monday, but there is another manager leaving next week so there will be another chance. not sure if im up to it or not, but the pay increase is enough for me to at least test it out :-) haha...i am going to need serious help w/ bills and school and all that jazz in the next few months, so i think i can deal with hiring and firing and such if i must. it will definatley be a new thing for me...like i will be in charge of the whole "front lanes" basically from the parking lot (and cart attendants) all the way to the sales floor...that includes cashiers and the guest service department. HAH! can you imagine me giving orders and doing reviews and firing people and repremanding people and such? i mean SERIOUSLY?!?! hahahahaha....we shall see friends, we shall see!!
