Room 306, Tuesday late morning into the afternoon

After making a few phone calls, Wyatt tried to figure a way to get Prue out of the spider's cocoon. He tried orbing and a few spells he quickly came up with, and even summoned Excalibur to try to slice the webbing off. Nothing worked. And his brother was still unconscious in the bathroom. Not a good day.

Isabel didn't get the message until after class. But as soon as she did, she was at Chris's room, knocking on the door.

When Wyatt opened up the door and saw Isabel, he immediately pulled her into his arms for a hug.

She hugged him back while trying to simultaneously check for injuries. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," he assured her. "It's Prue and Chris who need help." He pointed to the cocoon on the wall. "There's Prue. And Chris is locked in the bathroom."

"Because he's turning into a spider," Isabel said matter-of-factly as she stared at the webbed Prue. "You're right. Just another day in Fandom."

"We ran into a spider demon in the Preserve this morning," Wyatt said, rubbing his temple. "It scratched Chris but we didn't think it was anything serious. Until the demon went for Prue again here and Chris protected her from me."

"And you stopped him, hence the being locked in the bathroom." She sighed and slid her arm around Wyatt's waist. "What do you want me to do? Research? Try and break down the web? Guard duty on the bathroom?"

"Give the web a try?" Wyatt said. "Careful, don't touch it, it'll zap you. Bridge says that Prue's alive in there, just unconscious. I haven't been able to figure out how to get her out, though, and I don't think Savannah's having any luck, either."

"Of course not. Because that would make life so much simpler." It's not that she didn't recognize the seriousness of the situation. It was just that fact that they were having a situation so soon after that last one that had Isabel just a little frustrated.

She walked over to the web, held her hand over Prue's foot and concentrated on turning the webbing to dust.

"Careful," Wyatt warned, not wanting to see Isabel get zapped like he had.

The webbing, apparently, was unimpressed by Isabel's abilities and remained hard and sticky. Not dirty.

Even though she heard Wyatt's warning, Isabel lowered her hand a little closer and focused that much more. There was no logical reason why this shouldn't work.

And that would be the web zapping Isabel, knocking her backwards. Fortunately, Wyatt was right there to catch her. "You okay?" he said anxiously.

The only thing hurt was her pride. "I'm fine," she promised, squeezing his arm. "So so much for taking out the web. I guess it's on to research mode now?"

Wyatt nodded. "We made a vanquish potion for the spider demon, but we're going to have to make another batch because Chris orbed it away," he said. "And I don't want to use that on Chris, either."

"Yeah, I can see where that would be a bad thing," Isabel agreed. "Well if you want me to start chopping up eye of newt, just show me where it is."

But before she did that, there was time for a quick hug. "It's going to be okay."

Wyatt hugged her back. "Trying not to flail," he said. "There has to be a way to fix Chris."

He showed Isabel the vanquish potion recipe in the Book. "It was pretty easy to make, nothing too gross," he said. "We have all the ingredients."
