I remember that for the first 2 years I was at Hofstra, I cursed ResNet (the residential computer people on campus). They would never get out internet up in time, the server would crash on the day we would need to register for classes, or the network would just poop out.
Today, I take all that hate back.
After a battle with my computer today (it kept shutting itself down before I could even do anything about it), I called up ResNet in utter desperation. They took me in immediately and fixed all the problems on my computer.
So thank you to all the techies out there who have ever helped me in one way or another with my computer, and a special thank you to Hofstra for helping me get my computer running so I can actually get some stuff for finals done.
PS - Having only 2 days of classes is amazing. I finally get to enjoy it now that I don't have an internship to go to. I sleep late, eat when I want, and fart around most of the day. How refreshing.
