Help with reading

Jul 04, 2015 21:16

I have a Kindle now.

And I love it.  The font is easy to read, and I sized the text up a touch so I can read a lot longer without getting physically tired.  Also, it is so comfy reading in bed with it.  I think I'm reading about twice as much as I could before. And using it saves paper.

I used to read so much, and then around five years ago I noticed I would get tired quickly.  I'd either fall asleep, or I'd find myself squinting and the muscles around my eyes would get sore.  I got good prescription reading glasses from my eye doctor, and that helped a lot.  But I guess after a life of being nearsighted (and having very good close vision), even a new pair of glasses wasn't enough help.  With the Kindle, I can set the text so I see it best, and every book shows up the same.

I'm hooked. :)
