FINALLY updating...
Wow...it's been a while since i've written in this thing...time for some updates :-D...well first of all, i turned the big 20..hell yeah!...less then a year til i can legally drink!!!...unfortunately i had to work on my actually birthday, but i celebrated on the weekend and had a blast...first, on friday (the 25th) i went to six flags, with maggie, anthony, alli, and andrew...oh it was so much fun!...we went on sooooo many roller coasters...it was great...and alli and i ate these yummy sundae cone things...it was a long but extremely fun day...then on saturday maggie and i went to a dashboard confessional concert (chris carraba is a MAJOR hottie by the way)...i got the tickets for maggie for her birthday and she took me with her :-D...it was lots of fun...then on sunday i went to the beach with my mom and we met up with my aunt there and she gave me a VERY nice present that pretty much made my jaw drop to the floor...lol...all in all it was a great birthday filled with presents (including a coach bag and a day at the spa) and good friends
in other news, i managed to meet up with caroline one day after work...that was fun..we got the keys to our place and took measurements....we met up with martin, grabbed some chinese food...then hung out a little bit more before going back home...it was fun
fourth of july weekend was also very interesting...on july 2nd, martin invited maggie and i to go to a "get together" at his new place in nb...we were supposed to hang out with maggie's friends but they bailed on us, so after taking maggie's brother to see fireworks we went to see martin...it was fun...maggie and i played beer pong and came awfully close to winning...but we didn't :-/...then i played a game with paul and we won :-D...we hung out a bit longer and talked to some of martin's friends who were really nice...his housemate, the supposed "bitch" turned out to be really cool...lol...martin's just a meanie...in any case, maggie and i wound up getting some pizza with paul...and we left shortly after...good night and uhhhhh, very INFORMATIVE as well...haha..we'll just leave it at that...on the 4th of july itself i worked all day then went to this really lame barbecue where i saw this guy that reminded me of...well, someone i didn't wanna see...it irritated me so much i just left and went home...
i went down to nb once with my mother to move a bunch of stuff in to the room...boy was that interesting...lol..we spent two hours putting together this dresser thing...but we did an awesome job on it...one of the very few times i actually had fun spending time with her...we also went to canal street to get my solid white gold florentine-style italian horn made...FINALLY!..i'm so excited...i can't wait til it's done...although i must say, canal street sucks...waaaaaaaaay too many people...so crowded...going there was a bad experience...the only highlight of that day was eating at a restaurant fileld with gorgeous eastern european waiters and busboys...
two fridays ago i got to hang out with melissa! yay!!!...we took a friggin three hour walk...non stop...it was insane...we walked down to frank sinatra park in hoboken down to the end of hoboken then all the way back..i literally could not feel my legs at a certain point...lol...it was good though..conversation rolled on and the time passed so quickly...she's an interesting character...it's really the only way i can describe her...one awesome girl...glad i'm friends with her :-D...we've determined that she, hiral and i are going to get our tattoos together..cool right?..hehe
on saturday i actually managed to squeeze in a date..:-O...i know, i know...it's a shocker...lol...i had a lot of fun...we went to manhattan and saw a movie and then we went to the park where we talked and other stuff..hehe...he complimented me a lot..that made me feel really special...it was really cute though cuz he was acting all boyfriendish holding my hand and wrapping his arms around my waist...and i just love all that touchy feely stuff...it felt nice to have the perks of having a b/f without actually having a commitment....just what i want for the summer...perfect...i dunno why i was so against dating, it's much more fun then i remember...i amy do it more often..lol
i also started classes...booooooooooooooo...my psychology class is really good but my stupid philosophy class sucks...well, not the class, the professor...but still..it's annoying cuz he doesn't speak english very well and it's hard to pay attention to someone you don't understand for 3 and a half hours...ESPECIALLY when it's a subject like philosphy...oh well, i'm dealing...i met some really nice people there...some of them are kinda ditzy but they're nice nonetheless...
work is the same as always...busy in spurts and bored in others...my boss at S&P has officially asked me if i wanted to work during the school year one or two days...i'm so excited!...it's a great opportunity...he's gonna get me a VPN so that i can access the S&P intranet from my computer and he's also getting me a calling card so that i can contact people in europe..:-D..awesome right??...i just hope it all works out..as for my other job, well, there's a new blond haired blue eyed guy there...he's not the most attractive guy in the world but he's really cool and has piqued my interest...if anything, he'll provide me with amusement at work, thus making the day go by much faster...haha...although, if things work out with S&P, i will no longer work at that place...no need for all that stress...that's about it on the job front
for the future i have a bunch of stuff planned...i'm going to a dave matthews concert tomorrow evening...john mayer in august...hopefully warped tour in august...moving more stuff down to new brunswick including my bed which means i might spend a weekend there...my aunt also invited maggie and myself to come stay up at her house for a weekend so we can go to the beach..that would be really cool too...and i might go away for a week in august with melissa to this island in the middle of the atlantic ocean...aside from that stuff, i'm getting a tattoo, a new cell phone, and picking up my italian horn as well as getting a greek eye to put on my chain..this way i'll have symbols from both of my countries...cool right?
in closing, i guess i just wanna say that i miss everyone very much...you all know who you are...it seems as though no one has time for a social life anymore, myself included...i can't wait to get back to rutgers...my life will be much more organized and so much less chaotic...and i may actually get to see some of the people i care about *gasp*...well, i hope the rest of your summer goes well, it's been flying be for me as i'm sure it has been for you as well...miss you and love you all *muah*
