Yeeha It's a Long One
so the sun is shinin today but it still feels cold, got a hair cut appt. in an hour or so. oh, lol me and mandi made a bet, when we see each other next whoever has the longer hair has to buy the other ice cream...so i better be winnin! mwah, its a crazy life. God is gracious. why do people fall so much? cuz we're weak. life's lil and big questions. sometimes people don't realize that we are half human and half spirit. only half spirit here people. so while we're on earth its a complete all out war. the devil is always trying to win, like when is he not fighting? when are *we* not fighting, y'know? crazy. just never forget that God knows who we are inside and out. he knows our frame and remembers we are dust. says so in psalms. he reads right down to our heart where no man can see. never be afraid of his reaction to something it will NEVER be the same as someone here, physically here. he knows how hard you fight and knows how hard you struggle to make him happy, but he knows how lil you try too. gotta remember that. he wants to be your best friend, he wants to know what makes you happy and what makes you sad, just talk to him. he knows all that stuff already, but he wants the communication. he loves it when you just go to him and say "God...today sucks." tell him why he'll reach his arms out to you and give you a hug when you need him. he'll carry you when you feel too weak. he made you a sunrise to show you every gift he's giving to you. he's the one that sends you flowers every morning, and a starry sky every night. has a guy ever given you flowers that lasted all summer and spring? i don't think so. has anyone ever made a river run for you? or the birds to sing your favorite song? speaking of birds, i think we could all watch them and learn something, y'know? they escape the problems down here, they fly away and get away, but have you ever seen one try and fly on a windy day? ever watched how they struggle? nobody has it easy, but they fight hard and once the wind dies down, their wings are strong enough to carry them on the calmest day. another thing, can't remember if i've written about it already, but another thing, sometimes life gets really hard and the fire is building up around us and we can't seem to get thru. but think of some of our forests. there are seeds from trees that actually need fire to grow into some of the largest trees on earth. we get so caught up in the now and the here that we forget, the fire that so easily strikes us down is what we can use to grow so much stronger. if you consider yourself a strong christian, or you feel like your just being beat down...take a moment today to thank God for his strength, and thank the devil for being the fire that makes you burn for God's love. it's all a war, don't burn out yet, you've still got the rest of this race to run. i believe God has given us nature as something to look to for help in our lives, and before you start thinking i'm a crazy person who finally cracked. think about it. the hardworking ants, the soaring birds, the forests, nature struggles just like we do, but they never give up and neither should we. do all to the glory of God, in mind, body, and soul.
