So it has been a while, I thought I might catch you up on recent events and whatnot. This past weekend, the basketball team won the St. Andrew's Tournament (Scott got MVP cuz he played like a p.i.m.p.). We're now 3-0, 3 games in 3 days, I might add. We won all of our scrimmages as well (three of those), so we're looking good this year, while exceeding expectations. Personally, I'm doing alright. I'm not getting soo many minutes yet, but they aren't deserved, so it's understood. I don't really compete on the court, like my peers. Rather, I just go with the flow. I can get away with it in soccer, cause well... it's not as back and forth. For basketball, one second while being lacksidasacal (woaaah, SP??)and you find yourself on the bench. It's a lose-lose for me. Once I get into the basketball mood, I think I'll fair a little better on the court. Oh well, till then...
Schools been going alright lately. I can't wait till college, until then I need good grades. This semester hasn't been hard at all, compared to sophomore year at least. I'll end up, if all goes well on exams (grrrrr), with all A's and 2 B's... that would be nice.
Thanksgiving break was nice. Diana came home, we chilled a ton. Thursday was pretty good as well. I saw a lot of family and ate a god awful amount of food (not popeyes or kfc...). All was good. Friday of break, I had a bball game that night. The start of an unlively weekend. Saturday night, Diana and I watched "Breakin' All the Rules" with Jamie Foxx in it, that movie is pretty tight. Sunday, I woke up at 5:30 to say bye to Dinah, fell asleep/went to work, then went to the UMD-Creighton game at 1. That game was alright. I was silently rooting for Creighton, which played well. UMD won 0-0 in PKs after a scoreless 90 minutes, then 2 OT's. I checked out the Creighton website after being impressed and things over their in Omaha, Nebraska do look nice. I could see myself suiting up for the Bluejays in less then 2 years.... we'll see.
Anyhow, things of late have been pretty sweet. I got my early Christmas gift on Saturday. The new Sidekick II. It's so piiiiiiiiimp. Damn, their goes my participation grade in every class in school. It really has everything... real and full AIM, flash camera, e-mail, real internet access, and more. Yup, so one gift down, hopefully many more to go. Soo if you see "via hiptop" in my profile, you know what I'm using.
Good catching up folks
Till next time...
peace up
