My 21st Birthday
Well I turned 21! This excites me because I can hang out with my older friends and never be worried about holding them back from having fun or doing what they want.
So my birthday... well I celebrated a little early and a little bit on my birthday and also thurs. The Thursday before I went to dinner and played putt putt with my best friend! It was a relaxing night and so much fun!
On my actually birthday Allison left me a scavenger hunt in my room... she did a pretty good job at hiding things where i wouldnt find them in my room... believe me i tried and i was like my room isnt that big. I went about my normal day. Went into Sudden Death playoffs in a putting tournament... i was ahead on the last hole and ended up losing oh well life goes on. Then i went to acct and then to work... even though it was posted all over the building no one wished me a happy birthday which was ok because i dont know how to respond to things like that very easily so it avoided ackward situations. But then by friday they all figured it out and were like since we missed it we are taking you to lunch. So i get lunch tom. Then i left work right away and met my sister, nephew, and brotherinlaw for dinner. I forgot my wallet at work... so i couldn't drink. Then i went to get my massage at the rec :) the awesome gift from my best friend! It was very painful but in the end worth it! The next night my roommate and i went to dinner and i got my first public drink...kinda...! it was goodtimes! So in all i had a great birthday! I got a ukulele from my mom from hawaii... its awesome and i am excited about playing it! I love new toys! I also got cheesecake pans, a cupcake thingy, cutting boards, and a cooling rack... since when i started baking i have no clue! but i love it all and am enjoying my new toys!! Well that is enough rambling!
God has been great to me over the past 21 years of life and he has brought me to and through so many things that have made me grow in my faith and stronger as a person. One of the greatest things is being able to see him and feel him in my everyday life! I am looking forward to the next few months being able to study more and get back into some things i've been missing!
